Draw odds by points
How many points it took to draw every Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and Arizona big game hunt, your estimated chance at your own point level, and how fast the bar is rising. Every number comes from the state's official draw report.
Each state draws differently. Utah uses bonus points: half the permits go to top point holders, half at random with extra chances per point. Colorado uses preference points: the most points draw first. Wyoming uses preference points for nonresidents only: 75% of licenses go to the most points, 25% at random, and residents draw at random. Arizona uses bonus points: 20% of permits go to the most points, the rest are drawn at random with an extra entry per point. Points don't transfer between states, so the tool and every page show each state's own system. How the numbers work.
